To manage your basic manufacturing processes, configure the records that define the company's manufacturing activities.
First, define the general setup, such as default settings and values that can be assigned to master records. Perform this general setup once during the initial implementation.
You must also identify production processes in master data records for specific production items. Set up each production process as a production BOM card that holds master data defining the raw materials, production equipment, and other values that apply to the production BOM. You can define different types of production activity, each with its own production BOM.
