Assign posting groups to accrual plans

After setting up the accrual posting groups, enter a posting group code on each accrual plan card.

The following steps describe how to assign an accrual posting group to a customer rebate. The same procedure applies to vendor rebates and sales commissions. For simplicity, only a customer rebate is described in detail.

Steps

  1. In the search box, enter Customer Rebates/Promos, and then choose the related link.

  2. Open the relevant customer rebate/promo card and click the Posting FastTab.

  3. In the Accrual Posting Group field, select the desired posting group.

  4. Repeat the procedure for each accrual plan.
