You can assign a default delivery route to a shipping destination. The program automatically assigns the default delivery route to Anywhere Mobility Solutions outbound document with a shipment date for which the delivery route is enabled. Set up the relevant delivery routes before performing this activity.
The following steps apply to customers, customer ship-to addresses, vendors, and vendor order addresses. For simplicity, only a customer is described in detail.
Steps
In the search box, enter Customers, and then choose the related link.
Open the relevant customer card and click the Shipping FastTab.
In the Default Delivery Route No. field, select the desired delivery route.
Repeat the procedure for each customer account.
If you need to use different delivery routes on different dates, use the Delivery Routing Matrix. On this page, you can assign default routes for different days of the week. See Assign delivery routes to specific days.
Once the setup is created, the system automatically assigns a delivery route to the sales order where possible. See Manage delivery routes on sales orders.
