You can assign a delivery route to specific days of the week for a particular shipping destination. Whenever an outbound document is created with a shipment date that corresponds to the appropriate weekday, the program automatically assigns the delivery route to the transaction. Set up the relevant delivery routes before performing this activity.
The following steps apply to customers, customer ship-to addresses, vendors, and vendor order addresses. For simplicity, only a customer is described in detail.
Steps
In the search box, enter Customers, and then choose the related link.
Open the relevant customer card.
On the Navigate tab, in the Sales group, choose Delivery Routing Matrix.
On the Delivery Routing Matrix page, select the day of the week on which you will assign a delivery route.
Choose the Delivery Route No. field to see the Delivery Route List page.
The Delivery Route List page displays Anywhere Mobility Solutions delivery routes enabled for the selected weekday.
Select the line with the desired delivery route, and then choose OK to copy the code to the page.
Repeat the procedure for additional days.
