In the Rental Mobile Operations - Field Service app, you can create work orders.


Standard procedure

1. In the Field service app, tap the floating action button > Create Work Order.
 

Note: On a Windows device or browser, on the taskbar, click Create Work Order.

2. On the New Work Order Create page, fill in the fields as desired. At least, fill in the mandatory fields.
 

Note:

  • Assign Immediately: Select this check box to assign the new work order to yourself. If cleared, assignment must be done in D365 F&SCM.
  • Change Availability: Select this check box to set the availability of the asset to No.
  • Address Same as Asset Location: Select Yes to use the current address of the asset. If No, you must manually enter an address.

3. Tap Save.
4. Tap Post Work Order.
5. Close the New Work Order Create page.
