To complete a task, have it signed off by your contact at the customer site.
Before your contact signs off the task, you can show the:
If you confirm a task sign-off:
Note: If you work offline, the actions for which an online connection is required are only done when you synchronize to D365 FO.
1. | On the Task details page, tap 'Sign-off'. |

2. | Enter the contact details: name and email address. You can also add some notes. |
3. | Show your contact the task summary. To do so, tap 'Summary'. |
4. | On the Sign-off summary page, expand the 'Task checklist' section to show which checks are completed and which checks are note done or failed. |

Note: If changes are required to the task checklist, tap the 'Task checklist' icon in the Task checklist section. |
5. | On the Sign-off summary page, expand the 'Spare parts' section to show the spare parts that are used for the task. |

Note: If changes are required to the spare parts, tap the 'Spare parts' icon in the Spare parts section. |
6. | On the Sign-off summary page, expand the 'Time overview' section to show the time you have spent on the task. |

Note: If changes are required to the time overview, tap the 'Time overview' icon in the Time overview section. |
7. | On the Sign-off summary page, expand the 'Other costs' section to show the costs that you have made to do the task. |

Note: If changes are required to the other costs, tap the 'Other costs' icon in the Other costs section. |
8. | Navigate back to the Sign-off page. To do so, on the action bar, tap '<'. |

9. | Have the contact sign off the task. |
10. | Tap 'Confirm'. |
You can only sign-off a task if all time tickers are stopped.
