You can define custom availability statuses to manage asset availability in the rental fleet.

These statuses apply to serialized assets and are set up in the Availability status configuration.

You can also configure bulk statuses for the Asset availability page.

Bulk status options:

  • On-order: Shows the quantity linked to a rental transaction of type Ordered.
  • Picked: Shows the quantity linked to a rental transaction of type Picked.
  • On-rent: Shows the quantity linked to a rental transaction of type On-rent.
  • On-hand: Based on older rental on-hand data. Used when the 'Use physical rental quantity' parameter is set to No.
  • Physical: Based on newer physical on-hand data. Used when the parameter is set to Yes.

Note: You cannot use On-hand and Physical together. The setting depends on the global parameter.

This process explains how to set up the availability status.
