You can use a rental quotation to create an offer for a customer or prospect.
You can add rental items, sales items, or service items to the quotation.
An invoice profile is required for the quotation. It is used to calculate prices and create invoices for rental items. For sales and service items, the invoice profile is not applied.
You must enter an on-rent date and expected off-rent date to calculate rental pricing. These dates do not affect pricing for sales and service items.
At least one default rental agreement must exist. The agreement includes data for rental prices, items, and services, and pre-fills the quotation or order.
The rental quotation flow includes steps to create, revise, cancel, mark as lost or won, and manage the quotation.
