Create a maintenance plan that uses both time-based and consumption-based triggers. Use the setting Both time and consumption-based to align both cycles under one plan. Either trigger can initiate the same maintenance work order, and both intervals are updated together.

In the time-based section, define a time recurrence pattern, such as every two months. Set the reset strategy to recalculate the next maintenance date.
You can configure how the next interval is calculated:

| 3. | In the Maintenance plan code field, type a value. |
| 4. | In the Description field, type a value. |
| 5. | In the Maintenance plan type field, select 'Time and consumption based'. |

| 7. | In the Work order template ID field, enter or select a value. |
| 8. | In the Main task field, enter or select a value. |
| 9. | Select Yes in the Warn when due field. |
