You can configure the posting status tab on a task to automate document posting when a task reaches a specific status.
For example, when a rental delivery task is marked as completed on the transport plan board, a packing slip is posted automatically if Auto-post is enabled. If completed through the MobileApp, the same rule applies.
If Auto-post is disabled, a manual Post packing slip window opens to complete the process.
| 1. | Go to Work order project planning > Setup > Tasks. |
| 2. | In the list, find and select the desired task. |
| 3. | Select Yes in the Auto-post (sub) rental documents field. |
| 4. | Click Add. |

Note: Repeat steps 7-14 if based on different statuses multiple posting of related documents are required. |
| 5. | In the Auto-post (sub) rental documents field, select an option. |
| 6. | In the list, mark the selected row. |
| 7. | In the Status field, select an option. |
| 8. | In the Sub status field, select an option. |
| 9. | Select the Auto-post check box. |

Note: Skip the step if the document must not be auto-posted and only a pop-up window offering to post the document must appear. |
| 10. | In the Show all lines field, select an option. |
| 11. | Click Save. |
