You can automatically add a work order template to the purchase order header. This creates a work order with tasks based on the template setup, such as receival tasks with checklists.

You can also default a work order template on a purchase order line. This is linked to the item through the default order settings on the item record.


Standard procedure

1. Go to Product information management > Products > Released products.
2. Find the desired item.
3. In the list, click the link in the selected row.
4. On the Action Pane, click Plan.
5. Click Default order settings.
6. Expand the Purchase order section.
7. Use the shortcut for switching to View or Edit mode.
8. In the Work order template ID field, enter or select a value.
9. Click Save.
