You can automatically add a work order template to the purchase order header. This creates a work order with tasks based on the template setup, such as receival tasks with checklists.
You can also default a work order template on a purchase order line. This is linked to the item through the default order settings on the item record.
| 1. | Go to Product information management > Products > Released products. |
| 2. | Find the desired item. |
| 3. | In the list, click the link in the selected row. |
| 4. | On the Action Pane, click Plan. |
| 5. | Click Default order settings. |
| 6. | Expand the Purchase order section. |
| 7. | Use the shortcut for switching to View or Edit mode. |
| 8. | In the Work order template ID field, enter or select a value. |
| 9. | Click Save. |
