You can do maintenance on business objects based on a schedule. Maintenance is triggered at scheduled moments in time. For example, maintenance of an air conditioner is done every year before summer or a service on an aerial working platform is done every six months.

Standard procedure

1.	Go to Business objects > Setup > Service and maintenance > Default maintenance plans.
2.	Click New.
3.	In the Maintenance plan code field, type a value.
4.	In the Description field, type a value.
5.	In the Template ID field, enter or select a value.
6.	In the Main task field, enter or select a value.
7.	Expand the Time based section.
8.	Click Enter recurrence.
9.	Click OK.
10.	In the Reset field, select an option.
11.	Click Save.
12.	Close the page.
13.	Go to Default dashboard.
