In Rental Logistics Scanning, you can use Rental return to return rental orders and transfer orders.

Use the filters to find an order without an order number or a barcode. You can combine filters to narrow down your search. For example, a rental order is returned, and you know the customer, you can apply the Customer filter. All rental order lines for the selected customer are shown if you click “F9: List”. You can make your search results more specific with the “Find item” or “Select work location” filters. For example, use the “Select customer” and “Find item” filters to view rental order lines for a specific customer and item. To view the search results, click “F9: List”. |

In Rental return, you can return rental items and add information. |

To finish a rental or transfer order return, on the Rented equipment page, click “F6: Finish”. On the confirmation page, you can view the customer name and rental order number information. You can also view all returned items listed with their returned quantities in a table. To finalize your rental return, click "F4:Confirm". The rental return is marked as "Returned " in D365 FO. You can start a new rental return. |
