Prev Next

The available planning periods and capacity are based on the production flow model and work-cell configuration.

Steps

  1. Go to Product information management > Engineering change management > Engineering change orders.

  2. Open a released ECO you want to review.

  3. On the Action Pane, in the Business impact group, select Open impact workspace.

The workspace opens for the selected ECO.

    Note

If the ECO has no lines yet, the button is unavailable. Add at least one affected product first.

  4. In the Kanban jobs section, locate the affected kanban job.

  5. Select Schedule.

The Schedule pane opens on the right.

  6. Review the kanban ID, job status, item number, current planning period, quantity, due date, and production flow.

  7. In the Target planning period field, select the period in which you want to schedule the job.

  8. In the Target work cell field, select the work cell, if the field is editable.

  9. Set Preserve due date to one of the following values:

    • On: Keeps the current due date

    • Off: Allows the system to recalculate the due date based on the scheduling result

  10. Select Confirm to schedule the job.

To close the pane without scheduling the job, select Cancel.

After scheduling is complete:

  • The job is assigned to the selected planning period.

  • The Action status changes to Rescheduled.
