Calculate the impact of an ECO

The impact calculation identifies affected records and updates the KPI tiles and impact sections for an ECO line.

Note

The calculation provides a point-in-time view of the ECO impact. Recalculate the impact after related inventory, supply, demand, or transaction data changes.

Prerequisites

You have opened the Impact Workspace for the ECO that you want to assess.

Calculate impact for one ECO line

  1. In the left pane, select the ECO line that you want to assess.

  2. Check the calculation status, If the status is Not calculated, the workspace starts the calculation automatically.

  3. Wait for the calculation status to change from Calculating to one of the following values:

    1. Calculated: The calculation is complete, and the impact count appears.

    2. No impact: The calculation is complete, but no affected records were found.

  4. Review the calculation date and time in the right pane.

Calculate impact for all ECO lines

  1. On the action pane, select Calculate all.

  2. Review the progress indicator while the calculation runs.

    Example: Calculating line 3 of 15.

  3. When finished, review the updated calculation status for each ECO line in the left pane.

  4. Review the updated Total impacted count in the summary.
