Pharmaceutical companies are subject to regulations imposed by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Key elements of these regulations are rules governing the information technology space in drug production and research organizations. Computer systems are enforced to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of data and to make them available for an audit.
To meet these requirements, the Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing module allows for the printing of sensitive dispensing information in the following reports:
- Dispensing orders (Inventory management > Inquiries and reports > Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing > Dispensing orders) – The report provides an overview of the dispensing orders either manually or automatically created in the system.
- Dispensing operations (Inventory management > Inquiries and reports > Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing > Dispensing operations) – The report includes all the details related to each weighing operation executed in the Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing Client.
- Verification/Calibration (In the Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing Master, select a scale from the list of equipment, right-click on it and click Print list > Verification/Calibration report) – The report provides information about the controls executed on an instrument and the related results.
- Cleaning report (Organization administration > Resources > Resources, Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing tab > Cleaning operations) – The report includes details about cleaning operations executed in a room. Information can be exported to Microsoft Excel by clicking the Microsoft Office icon and Export to Excel > Cleaning operations.
- Control report (In the Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing Master, select Logs > Events, enter the criteria in the fields and click the Load Events button) – The report collects all the events that occurred in the Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing Client, such as login/logout, weighing operations, instrument controls, and cleaning operations, to ensure full traceability of the actions taken in the Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing Client.
