When a quality order is generated, the sample quantity is calculated according to the defined item sampling. In the case of quality orders with “Advanced” item sampling, it is possible to inquire how the total sample quantity is divided into smaller samples by pressing Inquiries > Quality order sampling in the Quality orders form.
The Quality order sampling form has the following fields:
Line number: the field is automatically populated with sequential numbering.
Analysis type: inherited from the Analysis type field in the Advanced quality order sampling form.
Sampling quantity: defined in the Advanced item sampling form (Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance > Setup > Quality control > Item sampling > Advanced). The user can override the value at a quality order sampling level (e.g., an additional sample is required).
Sample unit: defined in the Advanced item sampling form (Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance > Setup > Quality control > Item sampling > Advanced).
Sub batch type: the sub batch type values will be inherited from the ones defined in the Advanced item sampling form (Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance > Setup > Quality control > Item sampling > Advanced); it will be possible to override them at the quality order level.
