It is possible to specify if the sample quantity should not be reserved against a quality order by enabling the No blocking parameter in the Item sampling form (Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance > Setup > Quality control > Item sampling).
If the No blocking parameter is enabled, manual and automatic quality orders using the item sampling will not reserve any quantity. That is, no inventory transaction which Reference is Inventory blocking and which Issue is Reserved physical are automatically performed by the system.
