Maximum daily dose

Prev Next

For each drug being administered to patients for clinical studies, pharmaceutical manufacturers must indicate the product’s maximum dosage in terms of dosage units or a total number of tablets that should not be exceeded in a 24-hour period in order to avoid severe damage to the patient’s health.

The maximum amount of drug that can be safely administered per day can be specified for each batch by filling in the Maximum daily dose field in the Batches form (Inventory management > Inquiries and reports > Tracking Dimensions > Batches > Clinical Supplies Management FastTab).
