Inventory controls

Prev Next

Life Sciences Supply Chain Management and Life Sciences Warehouse Management modules offer several configurable checks related to material movements, both via client and via mobile device, to maintain a high degree of control over the movement of materials. These controls may be set as warnings (users can still complete the movement, but a warning message is displayed stating that the movement may be inappropriate) or errors (users cannot complete the movement).

The following controls can be enabled:

  1. Control on material use code against the intended use code of the order.

  2. Control on material storage conditions against the supported storage conditions of the destination warehouse/location.

  3. Control on material storage attributes against the supported storage attributes of the destination warehouse/location.

  4. Control on the batch disposition code against the destination warehouse/location through the controlled movement matrix.

Life Sciences Warehouse Management module enforces these checks when performing warehouse transactions via mobile device.
