The Life Sciences Supply Chain Management module allows for the addition of Destruction reason and/or notes to inventory journals. The following fields are available in the Header view of inventory journals (Inventory management > Journal entries > Items > Movement, Inventory management > Journal entries > Items > Inventory adjustment and Inventory management > Journal entries > Items > Transfer):
Reason code: a value can be selected from a configurable list (Inventory management > Setup > Destruction reason codes > Destruction reason codes).
Reason code notes: free text.
Both fields can be used as filter and can be printed in the journal report by enabling the corresponding parameters within the Print > Journal screen.
