Container content report

Prev Next

Pharmaceutical companies are required to complete a shipment report for each shipment or transfer to provide visibility and traceability of the shipped material.

The Clinical Supplies Management module enhances the Container content report, which can be printed from the Containers form (Warehouse management > Packing and containerization > Containers) by clicking the Print > Container contents button. The Container content report can be printed for containers shipped as part of sales or transfer orders, in Closed status (see the Container status field).

Users can define the default options for the generation of warehouse management reports in the General tab of the warehouse management Form setup (Warehouse management > Setup > Forms > Form setup). Such parameters apply to all warehouse management reports, such as Container contents, Bill of lading, Load list, Production pick list, and Shipping pick lists.

The following parameters can be configured in the Form setup form:

  • Item number in forms: allows to define whether the item number printed in the warehouse management reports should be the company item number (Our), the customer’s item number (Your), or both.

  • Product dimensions: allows to define how product dimensions will be printed.

    • After item number;

    • Part of item number;

    • Under item line.

In the Container content tab of the Form setup form, it is possible to define which information will be printed in the container content report, including:

  • Storage dimensions (Site, Warehouse, Location, etc.);

  • Tracking dimensions (Batch number, Sub batch, etc.);

  • Product dimensions (Configuration, Size, Color, etc.);

  • Cautionary statement of the batch or sub-batch (depending on the tracking dimension of the item).
