The Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing module offers the following features that ensure the dispensing areas and equipment are clean to prevent cross-contamination and preserve product purity. Additionally, at the end of a weighing operation, the dispensing room where the weighing operation has been performed must be sanitized, and the execution of the cleaning activity needs to be recorded following the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Capability to define the rules for the automatic generation of cleaning operations based on the following:
Periodic scheduling (i.e., daily, monthly).
Material type of the item to be weighed in a specific dispensing room. For example, cleaning operations required after weighing an API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) might be extensive to prevent any risk of cross-contamination when the following ingredient is weighed.
Capability to manually create cleaning operations for a dispensing room.
Capability to automatically record information related to the cleaning status and the last cleaning operation executed for a selected dispensing room.
