View files in Rental Management for D365 Sales that are uploaded in D365 F&SCM

In D365 F&SCM, you can attach files to records. The files are uploaded to a SharePoint folder. For these D365 F&SCM entities, the path to an attached file is synchronized to Rental Management for D365 Sales:

• Prospect: Synchronized to the related account.

• Rental quotation: Synchronized to the related quote.

• Project rental quotation: Synchronized to the related quote.

• Rental order: Synchronized to the related order.

In Rental Management for D365 Sales, you can view and open the files that are attached in D365 F&SCM.

Steps

1. Sign in to Rental Management for D365 Sales.

2. In the Site map, click the desired entity: Accounts, Quotes, or Orders.

3. Select the desired record.

4. On the command bar, click Edit.

5. Click the D365 F&SCM Files tab.

6. To open a file, click the link in the File field.
