Adjust credit limits for a customer or a customer group. You can also update the customer and credit group assignments.
Create a temporary credit to override the customer's limit. After the specified end date, the original limit is restored.
Steps
Go to Accounts receivable > Customers > All customers.
In the list, find and select the desired customer record.
On the Action Pane, click Credit management.
Click Credit limit adjustments.
Click New.
In the list, choose either Credit limit or Temporary credit limit. If you choose Credit limit, it will have an expiration date. If you choose Temporary credit limit, it will have a date range (From and To). Otherwise, both share the same fields and act in the same way.
Click Lines.
In the list, mark the selected row.
In the Customer account field, enter or select a value.
In the Customer account field, enter or select a value.
Choose Customer credit group (if defined previously). If a customer credit group is chosen, the credit limit and expiration date will be filled out automatically.
In the Expiration date field, enter a date.
Click Save.
Click Post.
