Do work order task based on order note

For a work order task without a checklist, you can find the work order task instructions in the Order Note.

In D365 F&SCM, on a work order line, an order note can be entered to instruct the field service engineer on the work to be done. This order note can give any relevant information on the work order task. To enter an order note in D365 F&SCM, on the Work order page, select a work order line, and click Additional notes, Line notes.

Steps

1. On the Booking page, open the General tab.

2. In the Order Note field, read the order notes and do the work order task accordingly.
