Sometimes, one legal entity lacks stock for a rental type, while another entity has enough. In this case, you can rent a business object owned by another entity by changing its physical owner. The financial owner remains the same.
Restrictions:
Do not use this flow for inventory category business objects. Use it only for rental category business objects.
Revenue sharing:
The financial owner can share revenues when another legal entity uses their business object. Rental Management supports this through multi-dimensional allocation and financial dimension attribute configuration.
You can distribute posted amounts across legal entities and ledger accounts.
