Create the Counting journal header

Create a counting journal header by associating counting policies with counting groups.

Counting groups can target assets with specific characteristics or thresholds.

Counting codes include:

• Manual – Includes lines each time you run the job.

• Period – Includes lines when the defined interval expires.

• Zero in stock – Includes lines when on-hand inventory reaches zero.

• Minimum – Includes lines if stock is equal to or below minimum levels.

If the Period code is selected, enter the interval (in days) in the Counting period field.

Steps

1. Go to Business objects > Journals > Rental counting.

2. Click New.

3. In the Site field, enter or select a value.

4. In the Warehouse field, enter or select a value.

5. Click OK.

6. Close the page.
