When you qualify a lead in Rental Management for D365 Sales:
A contact is created in Rental Management for D365 Sales.
In Rental Management for D365 Sales, a contact is a person related to an account with whom you communicate. An account can have several contacts.A contact is created in D365 F&SCM.
In D365 F&SCM, a contact is a person related to a prospect or customer with whom you communicate. A prospect or customer can have several contacts.
The contact in Rental Management for D365 Sales and the contact in D365 F&SCM are linked.
Note
If, for the lead, you have entered an contact name that already exists as a contact, a dialog is shown where you can indicate what to do with the duplicate contact.
If, on the Qualify dialog, you have selected an existing contact, no contact is created.
If you have selected an existing contact, usually, already a related contact exists in D365 F&SCM. In this case, no contact is created in D365 F&SCM.
