1. Manage master data status from D365 F&SCM pages
In Master Data Management Studio, you manage master data statuses from the Master data management - Operation workspace. This is now changed to enable more direct master data status management.
Two updates are made. You can now:
Set the initial master data status for subscribed companies when you define master records. You can now choose the initial status (New, Approved, Modify, or Released) to be applied to the record in the target companies, instead of it always starting as New.
Manage master data statuses directly from any D365 F&SCM page for which the dynamic menu form setup is enabled. A new Status button group is now available on enabled D365 F&SCM pages. The status buttons are automatically enabled or disabled based on the current status of the selected record. So, only valid actions are available at any time.
