You can create a solution that is selectively based on an existing solution. You can indicate how to:

3. | In the What would you like to do? field, enter 'Configure a copy of a solution'. |
4. | Click Next. |
5. | You can indicate how to use the elements that are used in the base solution. You have these options: - Reuse all elements: All RapidValue elements, which are used in the base solution, are reused in the new solution. - Copy base solution elements and reuse other elements: All RapidValue elements, which are used in the base solution, and that belong to the base solution, are copied to the new solution. All other RapidValue elements, that are used in the base solution, are reused in the new solution. - Copy all elements: All RapidValue elements that are used in the base solution, are copied to the new solution. |

6. | You can indicate how to copy the business process hierarchy of the base solution. You have these options: - Copy full business process hierarchy: The full business process hierarchy, as defined for the base solution, is copied to the new solution. - Select business process hierarchy: You can select which parts of the business process hierarchy are copied to the new solution. |

7. | You can indicate how to copy requirements of the base solution to the new solution. You have these options: - Reuse: All requirements of the base solution are reused in the new solution. So, these requirements stay in the base solution. - Copy: All requirements of the base solution are copied to the new solution. - Skip: No requirements of the base solution are copied to the new solution. |

8. | You can indicate if the tasks of the base solution are copied to the new solution. |

9. | You can indicate if the test specifications of the base solution are copied to the new solution. These test specifications are included: - Tests - Test suites - Test cases |

10. | You can indicate if the test runs of the base solution are copied to the new solution. |
  | Select Yes in the Test runs field. |
11. | You can indicate if the scoping data of the base solution is copied to the new solution. This includes the scope indication and the milestones. |
  | Select Yes in the Scope field. |

Note: If the scoping data is not copied, in the new solution, the business processes get the scope indication Not specified. |
12. | You can indicate if the verification data of the base solution is copied to the new solution. This includes the gap indication and the gap categories. |

Note: If the verification data is not copied, in the new solution, the business processes get the gap indication Not specified. |
13. | You can indicate if the status of the elements of the base solution is copied to the new solution. |
  | Select Yes in the Status field. |

Note: If the status is not copied, in the new solution, the elements get the lowest status. This can be the status Open or Created. |
14. | You can indicate if the owner of the elements of the base solution is copied to the new solution. |
  | Select Yes in the Owner field. |
  |
Note: If the owner is not copied, in the new solution, the elements do not have an owner. |
15. | Click Next. |
16. | If you selected Select business process hierarchy, the Select business process hierarchy page is shown. Indicate which parts of the business process hierarchy you want to copy. To do so, select one or more records and click Copy or Skip. |
