3PL - Seller messages

A 3PL warehouse ships the products that your company, as the seller of these products, has sold to your customers.

Seller 3PL EDI messages are the EDI messages that your company, as a seller, can send to or receive from a 3PL warehouse.
In EDI studio, you set up your side (the seller side) of the EDI message exchange with a 3PL warehouse. So, you do not set up the EDI messages at the 3PL warehouse. Of course, you set up your side of the EDI message exchange in close cooperation with the 3PL warehouse. Because the exchanged data must match.

Picking list	Seller	If you want to use EDI to send picking lists to a 3PL warehouse: Set up the related document flow for the 3PL warehouse with the 'Warehouse - Picking list to XML' message from the desired tutorial project. Use this setup to send picking lists through EDI messages.
Picking list registration	Seller	If you want to use EDI to receive picking list registrations from a 3PL warehouse: Set up the related document flow for the 3PL warehouse with the 'Warehouse - XML to Picking list registration' message from the desired tutorial project or a custom 'XML picking list registration to EDI inventory order' message. Use this setup to receive picking list registrations through EDI messages.
