Review the validation history to see every assessment that has run, monitor data quality trends over time, and open the detailed results of any run.
Prerequisites
At least one Data Quality Assessment has been run.
Steps
Press Alt+Q to open the Tell Me search.
Enter Validation History and select the page from the results.
Use the toggles at the top of the page to filter the runs by result type:
Validation rule – selected by default.
Duplicate check rule.
Review the details shown for each run.
Column | Description |

Assessment Run ID | Unique identifier of the run. |
Policy ID | The policy that was assessed. |
Table | The entity that was checked. |
Type | The check type of the run. |
Started Date/Time | When the run began. |
Completed Date/Time | When the run finished. |
Records Processed | The number of records checked. |
Failed Validations Count | The number of failures found. |
Status | The current status of the run. |
Select the run you want to inspect.
Select Show Log to open its detailed results.
Results
Business Central displays the execution summary for every assessment and lets you open the exception log for any run.
