Schedule an assessment through the Business Central job queue when you want it to run automatically at a set frequency, for example every night or every week, without starting it manually.
Prerequisites
Data Quality Check is enabled on the Data Quality Setup.
One or more Data Policies are Active, with validation rules or duplicate checks configured.
You are allowed to create and manage job queue entries.
Steps
Press Alt+Q to open the Tell Me search.
Enter Data Quality Assessment and select the page from the results.
Set up the run: select the Run scope, the Policy ID or entity, and any filters you need.
In the Check Type field, select the checks to schedule: Validation, Duplicate check, or Both.
Select the action to schedule the assessment as a job queue entry.
Define the recurrence, such as the frequency and the next run time, and confirm.
Results
Business Central creates a job queue entry that runs the assessment automatically according to your schedule. Each scheduled run creates a new Assessment Run ID in Validation History.
Note
The scheduled run honors the Check Type you select. When you choose Validation only or Duplicate check only, the job runs that check type alone; it runs both only when you select Both.
