The Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Visual Job Scheduler Integration integrates STAEDEAN Project Control Suite (PCS) with NETRONIC Visual Job Scheduler (VJS).
To use this feature, acquire and install both the NETRONIC Visual Job Scheduler and the STAEDEAN Visual Job Scheduler Integration.
The integration aligns the Project Control Suite data model with Visual Job Scheduler: planning lines of the type Budget use the type Planning. The main focus is on visualizing the resource planning for a project. The Visual Job Scheduler Job View shows the planned resources per project task and lets you drag bars to other dates and add resources to a project task. The resource and histogram views show the capacity and load on the resources.

When installed, open the Project Gantt Chart for a single project from the Project card > Related > Project > Project Gantt Chart. Open gantt charts for all projects from the Project Manager Role Center > Actions > Tasks > Project Gantt Charts.
Steps - Calculate resource capacities
To properly calculate resource planning, calculate resource capacities:
For all resources to show in the planning, set a Work Hour Template on the Resource card.
From the Project Manager Role Center, open Resource Mgmt. > Calc. Resource Capacity.
On the request page, select a starting date and ending date. Optionally apply Anywhere Mobility Solutions of the following resource filters:
Type: Blank (= all types), Person, or Machine.
No.: calculate for the specified resource only.
Resource Group No.: calculate for the specified resource group only.
Click OK to start the calculation.

Make the following recommended settings in Visual Job Scheduler:
Open Visual Job Scheduler as described above.
Open Company Setup from the Actions menu.

Visual Job Scheduler limitations
Compared to the Project Control Suite pages, Visual Job Scheduler has the following limitations:
Planning lines with Resource Groups are not shown.
To save modified planning lines, the planning line status must be Open.
Only items marked as Show in Visual Job Scheduler on the Item card are shown.
