Lifecycle Base
Administrative workers must make the right decisions many times every day and at every step to ensure the completeness of information. To help employees and companies manage the lifecycle of items more simply and consistently, STAEDEAN has created Lifecycle Base.
When employees use a Lifecycle application, they remain in control and drive the workflow forward, but also benefit from an automated, structured process that takes care of the more mechanical aspects of their tasks. Users navigate through business processes as they usually would, but with the support of intelligent functions that check conditions and authorizations and trigger routine actions such as printing and posting. Lengthy tasks can run in the background without affecting system performance.

Project status
Project Status requires Item Lifecycle Status to be installed to access Lifecycle Base. Next, install the Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Project Status app for the page extensions and project-specific action handlers. When installed, create a lifecycle type with the following settings:

Project task status
Project Task Status is part of the Project Status app. Install the Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Project Status app for the page extensions and project-specific action handlers.

With these settings, a lifecycle for project tasks can be created.
Note
Item Status Management is included in Lifecycle Base as a working example. When using Item Status Management, users are guided through business processes around items without interfering with the standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central code. By setting conditions to lifecycle states and state transitions, and attaching action handlers to the same states and state transitions, a path through the business process around items is defined.
Lifecycle Base integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Workflows, making it possible to start an approval process from every lifecycle state. Project Status adds a State Code field and a Change Status action to the project list and Project card.
Through additional settings, you can control which project status is set for each project state:
