Use the target values

With target values you can make specific sets of answers per item for a specific question:

Field

Description

Source Type

Select Item or Item Category.

No.

Select an item or an item category based on the Source Type setting.

Question

Select a question for which you want to set the specific target values.

Type

Filled after the question is selected: Boolean, Lookup, Numeric.

Boolean

Type the target value (Yes, No) for this question.

Lookup

Select the assist edit to open the list of lookup values. You can add lookup values, change the target setting, and update the score values. When set, the field shows the lookup values marked as target.

Numeric

Type the target value and use the assist edit to open the list of tolerances. Set the From and To values as well as the score and the result status (Accepted, Ambiguous, or Rejected). Set the Value Type (Fixed, Percentage) in the Question List.

Set up target values for items

You can also set target values from the Item card:

  1. Navigate to the Item card.

  2. On the Actions tab, select Target Values to open the Target Values page.

  3. Adjust the target values of the type: Boolean, Lookup, Numeric as required.

Note

These adjustments also impact the check sheet rating.

Set up target values for variants

You can also set target values for item variants:

  1. Make sure a question with default answers is created first.

  2. From the Item card, open the Variants List per Item.

  3. From the Variants List per Item, open Target Values.

  4. On the Target Values page, select the question for which you want to specify the values.

  5. Drill down on the question type to update the values specific to the variant.
