Create incident

With the Create Incident action, create an incident from the selected document. When the incident finds a measurement template, the measurement is also created. If no template is found, select one in the incident after which you can create the measurement manually.

The Create Incident action also checks whether incidents are already created for the selected document. In that case the incident entry is highlighted in red.

Complete the incident with the following information:

  • Incident Quantity: type the quantity of items involved in the incident.

  • Incident Reason Code: select from the Incident Reason Codes table.

  • Comments: a checkmark appears when comments are found in the comments table.

Note

The description of the reason code is automatically added as the first line in the comments.

Incident entry

Find the created incident in Incident Entries. The incident entry shows whether a measurement was found and created in the No. of Measurements field. If not found, select a measurement template manually, see Link Measurements.

Note

Use the cues in the Quality Manager role center to track the incidents.
