Set up loading docks

Use loading docks in relation with delivery trips. When creating a delivery trip, you can specify a loading dock.

When Use Container Status Loaded is selected in the Transport and Deliveries Setup, specifying a loading dock on a delivery trip is mandatory. A warning appears when a delivery trip is already assigned to the same loading dock.

Steps

  1. Choose the  Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature icon (Alt+Q), enter Loading Docks, and click the relevant link.

  2. Click New to create a new loading dock.

  3. Enter the values for the Code and Description fields.

  4. Enter the code for the location associated with this loading dock.
