The Global State Update function changes the status of selected Lifecycle instances to a specified state. If New State Code is left blank, the instances move to the next state.
To perform a global state update
Choose the

icon (Alt+Q).Type LifeCycles to open the LifeCycles list.
Select Instances.
On the Lifecycle Instances page, select Change State.
On the Update Lifecycle Instance page, fill in the following fields and select Yes to update selected or filtered records:
