Mapping parent nodes

Prev Next

Concept

Mapping parent nodes means mapping a node containing child nodes from the source document to a similar node in the target document. These nodes are usually repetitive in an XML document and can represent a record or a collection of several records. This type of binding lets the target document recognise several records and different relations.

Setup

When launching the wizard from the assist edit on the mapper, the options are limited to parent nodes on the source document.
