Initialize Lifecycle

The initialization function sets the initial state for Lifecycle records. Use filters to set up Lifecycles in an existing database.

To initialize a Lifecycle

1. On a Lifecycle Card, locate the Initialize action.

2. Select the Initialize action.

3. Fill in the following fields:

   Field	Description
   No.	Identifies the Lifecycle.
   Version Code	Identifies the Lifecycle version.
   Description	Describes the Lifecycle.
   Table Name	Table on which the Lifecycle is based.
   Filters	Use filters to define a subset of records to set the initial state.
   Initial State Code	Select the state code for initialization. If left blank, the first defined state is used.
   Description	Description of the selected Initial State Code.
