Use the initialization function to set an initial state to lifecycle records. Use filters to help set up lifecycles in an existing database.
Steps
In the search box, enter Work Flows, and then select the related link.
Choose Edit to open the lifecycle card.
Choose Initialize on the Process tab to open the Initialize Lifecycle page.
Fill in the following values:
Filters to select the correct group of items.
Initial State Code: the lifecycle state to assign to the existing items.
