About Business Integration Solutions walkthroughs
Use these walkthroughs for a quick start on Business Integration Solutions or for demonstration purposes.
As a STAEDEAN partner, one of your tasks is to give product demos to your customers. This document describes some demonstration cases of Business Integration Solutions. Use these walkthroughs in combination with the STAEDEAN configuration templates, which already contain the described cases.
Prerequisites
The walkthroughs assume the following:
You have installed Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with the standard demo database.
You have a basic understanding of how to work with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development environment and RTC.
You have downloaded and installed the latest version of Business Integration Solutions.
You have a valid license for the STAEDEAN Business Integration Solutions products.
You have working knowledge of the latest version of Business Integration Solutions.
In addition to the software requirements, basic knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is important. When you set up an integration, the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central behavior does not change. Creating a sales order in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central manually or using Business Integration Solutions follows the same transaction rules, for example, you cannot create a sales line before the sales header.
Understanding the business logic behind the integrations you want to set up is equally important. Setting up an integration is straightforward, but the logic behind the integration matters most. Without understanding the business logic, setting up a proper integration with Business Integration Solutions is very difficult.
