After setting up your replenishment areas, assign items to them. When a production order is created for an item, the item's defined replenishment area is automatically assigned to the production order.
Steps
In the search box, enter Locations, and then choose the related link.
Select the location for which you want to assign items to replenishment areas.
On the Navigate tab, in the Location group, choose Item Replenishment Areas.
On the Item Replenishment Areas page, fill in the fields.
Repeat the procedure for each item you want to assign to a replenishment area.
Note
You cannot assign an item to several replenishment areas within the same location.
