You can assign break charges to the units of measure defined for an item. Depending on how sales pricing is set up, entering a unit of measure with a break charge on a sales line instructs the program to add the break charge amount to the item's unit price.
Steps
In the search box, enter Items, and then choose the related link.
Open the item card for which you want to assign break charges.
On the Navigate tab, in the Master Data group, choose Units of Measure. The Item Units of Measure page appears.
Select the item unit of measure for which you want to assign a break charge.
Fill in the Break Charge Method and Break Charge Adjustment fields.
