Create work order

In the Rental Mobile Operations - Transportation app, you can create work orders.

A page and view is available to monitor your self-created work orders.

When you, as a driver, identify an issue with a business object, you can create a work order directly from the transportation app. You can do so when delivering or picking up rental items. Procedure 1. Open the Rental Mobile Operations - Transportation app. 2. On the home page, on the site map, tap Work Order Creates. Note: On a Windows device or browser, in the navigation pane, tap Work Order Creates. 3. Tap the floating action button > New. Note: On a Windows device or browser, on the taskbar, click New. 4. On the New Work Order Create page, fill in the fields as desired. At least, fill in the mandatory fields. Note: Change Availability: If the asset cannot be used (safely) anymore, select this check box to set the availability of the asset to No.Address Same as Asset Location: Select Yes to use the current address of the asset. If No, you must manually enter an address. 5. Tap Save. Note: On a Windows device or browser, on the taskbar, click Save. 6. Tap the floating action button > Post Work Order. Note: On a Windows device or browser, on the taskbar, click Post Work Order. 7. Close the Work Order Create page (tap Go back <). Note: On a Windows device or browser, on the taskbar, click Go back Notes You can also create a work order from the Asset page. You can access the Asset page from the Delivery items or Pickup items tab of a transport task. Tap the item, and on the Delivery item page or Pickup item page, if the item is an asset, tap the asset number. if you create a work order from the Asset page, the asset is automatically filled in. View self-created work orders - Transportation app View self-created work orders - Transportation app You can view the active work orders that you created from the Rental Mobile Operations - Transportation app. Procedure 1. Open the Rental Mobile Operations - Transportation app. 2. On the home page, on the site map, tap Work Order Creates. Note: On a Windows device or browser, in the navigation pane, tap Work Order Creates. 3. On the Active Work Order Creates view, in the Work Order Name column, tap the desired work order.
