In the Rental Mobile Operations - Field Service app, several types of errors can occur:

Error Description
Validation

When you enter data or use functions in the Field Service app, validation errors can occur. A validation error message is shown at the top of the page.

Note: The error is not stored. So, it's only shown once.

Synchronization

When data is synchronized between the Transportation app and D365 F&SCM, errors can occur. A synchronization error message is shown on a dialog. For more information on the error, click Show Details.

On the My Active Sync Errors page, all synchronization errors are shown. To see more details and the full error message, in the Entity field, tap the link of the relevant error. Note: Use the Error Time filed to find the latest error.

Note: Synchronization errors are stored and can be accessed by an administrator.

Pickup request

When you have sent a pickup request for creation, it is processed in D365 F&SCM. During processing in D365 F&SCM, errors can occur. If so:

  • The pickup request status is changed to Error.
  • The error message is shown on the Pickup Request page. To see the full error message, tap the message in the Error field.
