You can register and view the asset information for an asset.

You can:

  • Register the asset meter readings.
  • Register the asset fuel transactions.
  • View asset information.

You can register meter readings for each meter. Procedure 1. On the Booking page, open the Asset Information tab. 2. In the Meters section, the asset meters are shown. Note: The Meters section shows up to five meters. If there are more, tap See more to see all meters. 3. You can register meter readings. Already registered readings are shown. In the Meter Transactions section, tap New Asset Meter Transaction. Note: The Meter Transactions section shows up to five registered meter readings. If there are more, tap See more to see all registered meter readings. 4. On the New Asset Meter Transaction page, fill in the fields. 5. Tap Save and tap Go Back [<]. Note: On a Windows device or browser, tap Save & Close. Notes You can also access the meters information in this way: On a main page, on the site map, tap Assets. Note: On a Windows device or browser, in the navigation pane, tap Assets. On the Active Assets view, in the Name column, tap the desired asset. Note: The Active Assets view only shows the assets of the work order tasks assigned to you with status Created or In Progress. Open the Meters/Fuel tab. Register fuel transaction Register fuel transaction Fuel tanks are shown for a work order task asset if available. You can register fuel transactions for each fuel tank. Procedure 1. On the Asset Information tab, tap the asset name. 5. On the Asset page, open the Meters/Fuel tab. 6. In the Fuel Tanks section, the fuel tanks of the asset are shown. 7. You can register fuel transactions. Already registered fuel transactions are shown. In the Fuel Transactions section, click New Fuel Transaction. Note: The Fuel Transactions section shows up to five registered fuel transactions. If there are more, tap See more to see all fuel transactions. 8. On the New Fuel Transaction page, fill in the fields. 9. Tap Save and tap Go Back [<]. Note: On a Windows device or browser, tap Save & Close. 10. This can also be the current work order task. Dynamic values (Dynamic Values tab). Dynamic values are additional properties as defined for the asset in D365 F&SCM. Upcoming maintenance (Upcoming Maintenance tab). Meters and meter readings (Meters/Fuels tab). If an asset has meters, these meters and related meter readings are shown. You can register meter readings. Fuel tanks and fuel transactions (Meters/Fuels tab). If an asset has fuel tanks, these fuel tanks and related fuel transactions are shown. You can register fuel transactions. Attachments (Attachments tab). If in D365 F&SCM an attachment is added to an asset, the attachments are shown. In the Rental Mobile Operations - Field Service app, you can view asset information.

For each asset, you can view its:

  • General information and location (Asset Information tab).
  • Assembled components, if it is an assembled asset (Asset Information tab). The assembled components are only shown if the asset is assembled and the related assembly work order task is completed. This can also be the current work order task.
  • Dynamic values (Dynamic Values tab). Dynamic values are additional properties as defined for the asset in D365 F&SCM.
  • Upcoming maintenance (Upcoming Maintenance tab).
  • Meters and meter readings (Meters/Fuels tab). If an asset has meters, these meters and related meter readings are shown. You can register meter readings.
  • Fuel tanks and fuel transactions (Meters/Fuels tab). If an asset has fuel tanks, these fuel tanks and related fuel transactions are shown. You can register fuel transactions.
  • Attachments (Attachments tab). If in D365 F&SCM an attachment is added to an asset, the attachments are shown. You cannot add an attachment to an asset in the Rental Mobile Operations - Field Service app.
