Set up and start Power Apps mobile app

The Rental Mobile Operations apps are build to run in the Power Apps mobile app.

These Rental Mobile Operations apps are available:

  • Field Service
  • Transportation

Note: In D365 F&SCM > Work order project planning > Resources > Resources, you can define if a resource is a Rental Mobile Operations app user. You can do so in the General section, in the Is mobile app user field. This setting applies across companies.

Devices can be: Tablet (mobile device) Mobile phone (mobile device) Laptop (Windows device) Browser on any of these devices (Note: For the best experience, you are advised to use the app instead of a browser.) Start Rental Mobile Operations app Start Rental Mobile Operations app When you have installed the Power Apps mobile app on your device, you can open and sign in to the Power Apps mobile app. The Rental Mobile Operations apps that are assigned to you are shown in the list of available apps. For more information, refer to: Install the Power Apps mobile app - Sign in Use Power Apps for Windows - Sign in Procedure 1. On your device, open and sign in to the Power Apps mobile app. 2. Tap the desired Rental Mobile Operations app. Notes If an assigned app is not shown in the Power Apps mobile app, ask for a QR-code. When scanned the app opens. You can set a Rental Mobile Operations app as startup app. As a result, the app opens by default when you open the Power Apps mobile app. You can also add your assigned the Rental Mobile Operations apps to the Favorites in he Power Apps mobile app. End End
